Nikoloz Leshkasheli graduated from the Georgian State Institute of Physical Culture in 1972.
Nikoloz Leshkasheli worked at the Department of Gymnastics of the Georgian State Institute of Physical Culture in various positions: as a Senior Laboratory Assistant (1972), Lecturer (1974), and Senior Lecturer (1985).
In 1985, he began working as a coach of the Georgian national team in Artistic Gymnastics.
In 1997, he served as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Coaching.
In 2005, he was Head of the Academic Affairs Office.
From 2006 to 2007, he worked at the Georgian Academy of Physical Education and Sport as an Assistant Professor.
Since 2018, he has been the Head of the Department of Mass Sports.
He holds the honorary title of Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sport of Georgia (since 2000), is a co-author of methodological brochures, and is a national category referee.
