Nino Berianidze

Education

In 1982, she was admitted to the Georgian State Institute of Physical Culture, which she graduated from in 1986 with a specialization in coach-teacher.
From 1985 to 1986, she studied in the therapeutic physical training department of the Institute of Physical Culture and was awarded the qualification of rehabilitologist.
In 1986, she completed sports journalism courses at the Faculty of Public Professions and was awarded the qualification of sports journalist.

Work Experience

Since 1985, she has been working as a coach-teacher at the Gymnastics Development Sports Center in Tbilisi.
From 2002 to 2018, she held the position of teacher in trampoline specialization at the Georgian State Institute of Physical Culture.
In 2006, she worked at the Institute of Physical Culture as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Therapeutic Physical Training.
From 2007 to 2010, she was an invited lecturer and associate professor in trampoline specialization at the Sports Academy of Ilia State University.
From 2009 to 2011, she served as an invited lecturer at Tbilisi Medical University, where she also delivered lectures with the status of associate professor.
From 2014 to 2017, she worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Gymnastics of the Georgian State Teaching University of Physical Education and Sport.
From 2019 to 2025, she held the roles of assistant professor and lecturer in sports acrobatics specialization at the same university.

Additional Information

In 2003, she was awarded the title of Honored Coach of Georgia in sports acrobatics.
In 2014, she was awarded the title of Honored Worker of Sport of Georgia.
In 1981, she was awarded the title of International Class Master of Sport.
Since 1992, she has been the head coach of the national and youth teams of the National Gymnastics Federation of Georgia.
Since 1992, she has been an international category judge in sports acrobatics.
In 2018, she completed a coaching retraining and qualification course organized by the European International Federation.
In 2018, she completed a coaching retraining course at the Georgian State Teaching University of Physical Education and Sport with category A.
She has published the following textbooks and programs:

  • Classification Program in Sports Acrobatics for 2024–2028
  • Acrobatic Exercises for Public Schools and Sports Clubs, 2021
  • Sports Acrobatics: Concepts and Terms, 2021
  • Rulebook in Sports Acrobatics (translation with amendments), 2025–2028
  • Teaching Manual “Trampoline,” 2007

On May 20–22, 2022, she participated in judging courses held in Tbilisi.
She has participated in 15 international scientific conferences.
She regularly takes part in scientific conferences of both university lecturers and students.
